About Us

Richard Beaupre, a U.S. Navy Veteran, founded ChemArt in 1976.  After his passing, he passed down his legacy to his three children, Stephen, Richard and David Beaupre, along with the President, David Marquis.  

A brilliant chemist, Richard developed a water-based photo-resistant process that is used to this day in printed circuit board technology amongst other things.  He tested his process with jewelry findings and soon after applied that technology to industrial parts, decorative ornaments, keepsakes and other products.

Richard was a true visionary with a philanthropic spirt that he carried over into his business.

Our organization is split into two distinct divisions; Beacon Design – our custom and wholesale ornament division and ChemTec our industrial division creating PCM precision parts for a variety of industries. 

Headquartered in Lincoln, RI, our state of the art facility has a total of 55,000 square feet housing our operations and amazing team.  Over 30% of our employees have been with the company for over 10 years, a testament to the loyalty and family environment fostered by Mr. Beaupre himself.
