Main Street Gainesville

Main Street Gainesville began their ornament program with us in 1996 after receiving several referrals regarding our work. The ornaments have been designed after classic buildings and places that either still remain in the downtown area, or have unfortunately been torn down. “These pieces resonate with long-time residents, as well as people who have moved away but retain a sense of pride and nostalgia in their old home town,” says Burnett.

The series of ornaments has been, and continue to be marketed through the local newspaper, the downtown newsletter, on the website, at local events, and even in many of the local retail stores. These stores often give 100% of the proceeds back to the organization, which assists in maintaining Historic Downtown Gainesville.
